1. Never Have I Ever
Every sophomores dream is to get popular and hook up with the high school jock, right? Well this is the goal Devi hopes to achieve. Devi has a tragic past with the death of her father during her recital, and being paralyzed. Luckily her second year of high school is off the a great start with finally being able to walk. She even gets to talk to the hottest jock in her school, Paxton. She asks him the huge question which will forever change her high school experience. This show is not a typical high school tv series.

You've heard of the Disney love story between the pretty bookworm and the hairy monster that lives in a castle. Yet this series is no musical numbers with dancing pots and pans. This show is about a human experiment that goes wrong. Vincent lives with J.T in an abandoned warehouse far away from society. These two men are always hiding and constantly running away from members of the outside. Catherine is a detective that had a near death experience one night. That night her mother was shot and killed in a car. Catherine runs into the woods away from the gunshots and locks eyes with a mysterious beast. Years later Catherine was working on a case and finally meets the hero who saved her that night. A love story begins brewing for Catherine and Vincent yet their relationship may be deadly.
3. No Good Nick
A rich family, a con artist, and a father in prison. What more could this Netflix original need? This Netflix Original series involves 13 year old Nick and her father working on raising money for him to bail out of prison. Yet poor Nick is only 13 years old and unable to apply at McDonalds or Applebee's. She goes to the Thompson family impersonating as one of their family members. While she plans on lying to them to steal their expensive belongings, she begins to build a loving relationship with each member of the family. Yet she struggles on making the decision of helping her father or staying with the Thompson family.
4. Insatiable
We have all seen Debby Ryan play as a struggling actress on Jessie. Yet on this Netflix original she plays high school Patty who gets a punch to the face that forever changes her life. During on summer Patty had a small dispute between a stranger outside a gas station which led to him giving her a mouth brace for the whole summer. During this time she lost a lot of weight which made all eyes on her. She started to love her new body yet still struggled with her eating disorder. During her struggles she got involved in pageantry and a love story. She begins dating Brick Armstrong. Yet the issue with their relationship is Bricks father is Patty's pageantry coach. While the two try to keep their relationship a secret, Patty's anger begins to rise towards the people who have done her wrong in the past. Little does everyone know that Patty will do anything to get revenge.
5. Degrassi: Next Class
Many of us grew up watching Degrassi on Nickelodeon. Luckily this series continues on Netflix with a few new characters and new drama. Each episode is full of juicy secrets and embarrassing moments. The show isn't just about dating and social media it involves important subjects too. Such as speaking about mental health, racism, suicide, bullying, and even drug abuse. While these topics may be challenging to discuss the cast explains them in a respectful way.
