These recipes are tasty and easy, what more could you want from a summer cocktail?

Malibu Sunset

•1/2 cup pineapple juice

•1/4 cup Malibu Rum

•2 Tablespoons of grenadine

•stir together pineapple juice + malibu

•add grenadine + don't stir

•garnish with sliced pineapple + maraschino cherries

•serve over ice

Mint Julep

•2 ounces bourbon

•1 teaspoon simple syrup

•10-12 mint leaves

•muddle the mint leaves + simple syrup in a chilled serving cup

•add in the bourbon + stir slowly adding small ice filling it to the top

•can garnish with mint leaves + serve with a straw

Negroni

•1 ounce gin

•1 ounce Campari

•1 ounce sweet vermouth

•stir these together + pour over ice

•can be garnished with an orange

Tequila Sunrise

Peach Bellini

•3 cups prosecco or any champagne

•1/3 cup peach schnapps or peach vodka

•2 tablespoons of sugar

•place all ingredients in a blender + puree until smooth

•pour into a cocktail glass and serve immediately

•can be garnished with mint leaves or fresh peaches

Paloma

•rub the rim of your glass with grapefruit juice + dip into salt on a plate

•add the tequila

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
