One day I hope you are able to wake up with a smile on your face ready to take on the world, but for now, just know you are not alone in how you are feeling.

Here is the truth-- the dark truth. The stuff that no one wants to hear about, but it is time to be heard.

There are some days where I may feel more alone than others. It as if I am screaming and no one can hear me. As if I am drowning and no one can save me. No amount of familiar faces or friendly smiles will ever make me feel as if I am not alone. I can be surrounded by everyone I had ever known, but still feel as if I am alone-- as if no one is on my side. To state it simply it is like I am standing alone in a crowded room.

I try and try to build myself up, but there is always someone standing in my way to tear me down. No matter what I do or say it is somehow always wrong. I will always have my #1 fan waiting for me to say something great just to tear me down and make me feel as if you I am worthless. All the joy I built up for myself out of the little things gets torn down within seconds making me feel worse than I ever did before. I feel emptier than ever.

Somedays I find it is easier to force a smile on my face. I will always be seen as the girl who is there for everyone else, holding them up, and smiling so bright it could light up the world, but no one really knows how much I am drowning in my own sorrows.

It is okay to not be okay.

I know that this is not how it needs to be-- easier said than done, but it is time I get to feel as good as I deserve because no one deserves to feel this low.

Finding help does not make you weak. As a matter of fact, it shows a sign of strength. It shows that you can see the flaws within yourself and you are strong enough and willing enough to reach out. I get it, this might not be easy, but I promise in the end it will be worth it. You deserve to be heard.

The truth of the matter is everyone goes through hard times and sometimes all you need is one person. One person to be there for you. One person to listen to you. One person to talk to you.

If you do not need that person then be that person.
