Do miracles really happen? Or are they merely a figment of a person's imagination that does not have an iota of reality to it? While growing up, I read fairy tales and short-fiction novels that always centered around a gloomy and melancholy atmosphere but ended with "happily ever after" conclusions. After diligently reading them, I always dreamt of a divine and happy-go-lucky journey after all the trials and turbulence faced by humans. In these iconoclastic fairy tales and short stories, there have always been miracles occurring here and there. As a matter of fact, the central protagonist is always faced with certain inexplicable circumstances that compel them to never lose the torch of hope and to believe in miracles.
The truth is that I wholeheartedly believe in miracles. They are the force that holds the bonds of happiness in life. An example of an immaculate miracle for me is when the lives of patients are saved after battling an excruciatingly painful chronic disease. Oftentimes, renowned and exceptional doctors are unable to save the life of a patient as he or she might be on the last stage of cancer or any other malignant disease. However, the power of the Almighty does not permit humans to drown themselves in depression and lose hope. The spellbinding and magical forces of miracles come into play, causing a patient to gain a new lease of life.
Without a doubt, there are many people who blatantly refuse to believe in miracles. I strongly encourage them to ponder about the various incidents that have shaped a new way of life for them and to reflect upon the overarching superpower responsible for rectifying a broken piece of life. Miracles provide the answer for joining the broken pieces of life together and that is why we should constantly believe in them.
