Dreams have been our longest companion ever since we were born. They govern human perceptions, desires, and expectations. As a matter of fact, very few are lucky enough to actually remember their dreams. According to CNN, “Although most of us dream four to six times a night, we forget 90% of our dreams 10 minutes after they end.”
When we dream, we are immediately transported to a whole new world that we may have never thought to have existed in the first place. Sometimes, I dream of traveling to a foreign and unknown land that I have never even been to in real life. Perhaps, this is an indication towards my travels in the future! In addition, I even encounter several new faces during my travels and this creates moments of ecstasy within me.
Sometimes, it is extremely disappointing for me to wake up from a dream and not remember what I saw. As a matter of fact, some dreams actually foreshadow the present and the upcoming future. Other times, it is best to not remember a specific dream because it might prove to be deleterious towards a person's overall health and well-being. Furthermore, having dreams have changed my perspective on many things such as the way people function and the ways of the world.
In fact, dreams provide us with the light in which we can change our perceptions of a variety of worldly affairs. They act as eye-openers towards the hardships, challenges, and despair experienced by many people who we may never get to meet in real life. Honestly, I feel that I have learned so many things in some of my dreams than I have in real life. Hence, dreams are somewhat interconnected with the chronicles of our life and beyond!
