With Halloween creeping up around the corner, it's time to start thinking about creative costume ideas without breaking the bank. Because let's be real, we're all broke as fuck. Although college is amazing, it sure is damn expensive.

Here are some classic Halloween outfits that come with a twist!

1. Are you vibrant and extremely outgoing?

A fairy would be the perfect costume for you. Make Halloween a magical night! Wearing any bright colored dress or top with a skirt works with flats accompanied by a flower crown and wings. The crown requires plastic flowers, craft wire, and floral tape. For the wings, coat hangers and stockings are used.

Lastly, wear brightly colored eyeshadows, sparkles, jewels, and dramatic eyelashes.

2. Are you a badass?

Dressing up as Wonder Woman would be ideal for you. Embrace your inner superhero by unlocking your superpowers! Wearing a red strapless bodysuit or tight red shirt, knee-high black boots, a dark brown or blue skirt, gold headband, and spiked arm cuffs. Spike beads, glue, and an old bracelet are needed to fashion the arm cuffs. Lastly, wear red lipstick and winged eyeliner.

3. Do you always have a resting bitch face?

You must dress up as Regina George, Cady Heron, Gretchen Wieners, or Karen Smith then. After all, on Wednesdays, you can wear pink, and Halloween does fall on a Wednesday this year! Wearing a tight pink mini skirt, white or another shade of pink low-cut shirt, and a pair of high heels would work. Next, tease your hair to get a more sassy, sexy look. Lastly, apply simple, natural-looking makeup.

4. Have at least a 100-day streak on Snapchat?

Dressing up as a Snapchat filter would fit you so well. Like people say, what you do becomes who you are! To be a gold butterfly filter, wear black leggings, jeans, or mini skirt, nude lipstick, gold top and shoes, and butterfly headband. Gold paper, a plain headband, and glue to forge the headband.

Lastly, add gold jewels onto your cheekbones. To be a deer filter, wear any type of black outfit. Next, wear liquid eyeliner, dramatic eyelashes, and face makeup. The face makeup requires a white paint stick, stick foundation, highlighter, bronzer, and orange shadow. Brown colored felt, a plain headband, and glue is used to make the headband.

5. Are you secretly a giant geek obsessed with science fiction?

An alien would be the best costume for you. Look out of this world, making you stick out in a crowd. Wearing a brightly colored and metallic bodysuit suit with a mini skirt or short tight dress with color reflective knee-high boots, heels, or sneakers would work. Next, spilled your hair into two space buns.

If you don't have long hair wear an alien antenna. A plain headband colored wired tinsel, and glitter balls are needed to create the antenna. Lastly, cover your arms, chest, and cheekbones with glitter.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
