Disney World is the happiest place on earth, but it is filled with a bunch of rides and character meet and greets for younger children to enjoy, but Disney World is still my favorite place ever. I definitely have enjoyed Disney World more since I am older than I did as a kid. Here are 5 things Disney World taught me as an adult.
1. You can always be a kid.
Going to the sing-along shows, meet and greets, or just riding rides can keep your inner child alive. Being able to have fun without others judging you is the greatest thing because in all honesty, everybody in Disney is geeking out at all the same things as you.
2. Those character meet and greets are more for the adults.
Who said character meet and greets were just for kids? I am about to be 19 years old, yet I still take pictures and get autographs from characters. Last time I went, I took a selfie with each of the princesses.
3. You are never too old to wear Disney clothing.
Half of my clothes have something from Disney on it, but then you realize everybody in Disney World is the exact same as you. It is really sad that they don't let "children" over the age of 12 wear costumes because I would have so been in a costume last time!
4. If you have a dream, you gotta work hard to achieve it.
Walt Disney had a dream, but it was definitely not an easy road to get to it, but he stuck with his dream and eventually reached it. He taught me to not give up my dreams because if I work hard at them, I can reach my dream, too.
5. You can always have fun with the right people by your side.
Going to Disney World with the right people can allow you to make the most of your Disney World vacation. You have fun waiting in long lines (because we all know that wait times are a joke), eating meals, or taking silly pictures (like pretending to be asleep on Rock 'n' Rollercoaster). Make the most out of your Disney trip.
