Every girl grows up adoring the Disney Princesses. However, when girls grow up they do not imagine them when picking their major.

1. Snow White - Education

She was so excited to take care of the dwarfs and help them so she would be great at helping children.

2. Cinderella - Human Resources

She is very good at cleaning and take care of others so she would be great at this major.

3. Aurora - Business

Very good at knowing what it is that she sees.

4. Ariel - Communications

She wants to be where the people are and connect with them even if she does not have a voice so communications would be perfect.

5. Belle - English

After all, her nose is always in a book.

6. Jasmine - Foreign Affairs

She wants to see a whole new world so this would be a perfect major to help her do this.

7. Pocahontas - History

She was a part of a crucial point of history anyway.

8. Mulan - Health Fitness

She is a very tough woman so a tough major makes sense.

9.Tiana - Culinary

Before she kissed the frog she worked in the restaurant so clearly, she loves food.

10. Rapunzel - Art

She does add to her mural every day.

11. Merida - Criminal Justice

She is strong and has a good shot, too.

12. Anna - Philosophy

She has her own view on everything, because who would marry a man she just met?

13. Elsa - Meteorology

She already can make snow, so why would she study anything else?

14. Moana - Marine Biology

Well clearly the ocean chose her, so why not study what is calling her?

While every little girl dreams about being a princess, princesses dream about school. If the princesses were not royalty, they would be heading off to college soon and getting ready for these majors! Even if you are not a princess, you can channel your inner-princess when doing your homework.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
