So, everyone says that a certain Disney princess is their favorite. Usually, it isn’t for a certain reason it is just because it is their favorite. Well, today I am going to tell you why that is your favorite Disney princess and how you two are actually more similar than you think.

1. Mulan

Mulan is known for being brave. She will do anything for her family and is confident in her own skin. She is always determined in getting what she wants. She will even go as far as cross-dressing to achieve her goals! You obviously may not be this extreme, but you may find it easier to be bold in certain situations or carry out a goal for a longer period of time because of your determination.

2. Ariel

Ariel is seen as a talkative redhead who loves to be a little rebellious. Sometimes being rebellious can come with some cons, but it usually has a few pros too. People who love Ariel are good at keeping the conversation going and going against the grain. They are also good at getting what they want no matter the cost.

3. Elsa

Elsa's icy exterior would melt against her firey interior. She is headstrong and stubborn and will do what she wants to do. Sometimes she may do these things and not notice who she is hurting in the process. She is reserved and really enjoys keeping to herself, but she very loving and loyal to family and friends. Just like Elsa, you may be more of an introvert and not really think of the consequences of your actions all the time, but you do love unconditionally.

4. Jasmine

Jasmine has a compassionate heart for others and is humorous. You will find her hanging out with her pet tiger or being adventurous by exploring the streets of Agrabah. She likes to make her own decisions instead of everyone else telling her what to do. Jasmine lovers may find themselves connecting with her by having great sympathy for others, having a strong bond with their animals, or cracking a good joke every now and then.

5. Pocahontas

Pocahontas is connected to nature and is very in tune with all of her surroundings. She loves to look at things in a different perspective and is always thinking of others. She first-hand knows that consequences come with your actions and you can't just do whatever you want.

She is also very brave for standing up for what she believes in front of a complete stranger. If you find yourself the #1 fan of the song "Colors of the Wind" then you might just be brave, one with nature, and thinking of others before yourself.

6. Belle

Belle is so much more than a bookworm. She is different from everyone else because of her peculiar ideas and intelligence. She not only sticks out in the crowd because of her smarts but also because of her physical beauty. Belle is extremely humble and always kind. She threw herself into a dungeon with a literal beast just so her Dad could be set free.

You may not find yourself horn to horn with a beast, but you will sacrifice yourself for a friend. Even if you aren't necessarily a book lover you can still find yourself being very passionate about certain topics that everyone else may not agree with you on.

In conclusion, no matter who you are you should be able to find some similar qualities between you and one of these Disney Princess'.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
