Dear Disney,

I know you are busy with making a whole bunch of multi-racial princesses right now, and I commend you! Please keep it up! I just want to throw in my opinion in the mix. Can we get a gay princess? Now, before you say no, hear me out.

1. It would teach tolerance

Kids practice what is preached. If they see a beloved character who also happens to be gay, think about all the good it could do!!

2. It would help to explain homosexuality to kids

A lot of parents don't really know how to explain homosexuality to kids. So by having a movie that explains it in a good way it can help lessen that concern.

3. Children would see that it isn't wrong

I know that being gay isn't wrong, but there is so much negativity out there surrounding homosexuality that having an example of two happy girls together could be so nice!! It would demonstrate that a happy couple doesn't need to be just a man and a woman but between any two people who love each other.

4. It would give young lesbians a role model

More and more often tv shows and movies are including a gay/lesbian character. As a young kid it would have been AMAZING to have a role model that I could have said I was like.

5. The LGBT+ community would sell out those theaters

Honestly though if there was a lesbian princess I would watch that movie soooooooo many times, and I can assure you so would a lot of LGBT+ people.

So in conclusion, we just want some representation!

P.S. Make a gay prince too

P.P.S. And a transgender character

You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
