As 2018 unfolds and the UFC continues to layout the schedule for the remainder of the year the return of the Diaz brothers has been speculated for some time now. With Nate Diaz supposedly in talks about a return to the octagon and Nick Diaz’s USADA officially being over you cannot help but get excited about what could possibly come. As of recent from what sources have been saying Nate is definitely in talks with the UFC and is just trying to find the right opponent for the right amount of money.

If it was to be Conor Mcgregor Nate wants at least 20 Million for the Trilogy fight but Conor’s focus seems to be on Khabib Nurmagomedov and his upcoming court case. There is a list of opponents that could give Nate the push to return to the octagon really soon as he has even attended an event. Eddie Alvarez has been taking shots at Nate and it would be a good fight for the division as Nate is the #8 ranked Lightweight and Eddie is currently the #3 ranked Lightweight in the world with a possible title fight in his reach if Eddie could get another big win.

That fight is interesting but the Rumor that has been flooding the Mix Martial Arts world is a potential bout between Nate Diaz Vs the UFC Welterweight Champ Tyron Woodley as Tyron has been saying Nates name a lot. This fight would be huge in every aspect including the pretty penny that Nate wants to make. Tyron is a hard-hitting wrestler who has been at the top of the Welterweight mountain for some time now as he has 3 successful title defenses and 1 draw against Wonder Boy Stephen Thompson. Tyron is also coming off of shoulder surgery that he had in December as he prepares for his suspected return. If The UFC can make this fight happen it could be huge if Nate Diaz shocked the world and pulled an upset over Tyron. Nate is an incredible boxer so it would be interesting to see what would happen if these 2 devastating fighters stood up with one another for 5 rounds.

Though Nate was in hot water for smoking a CBD vape pen after his loss to Conor in their 2nd fight, nothing came from it and USADA even changed the rules so that CBD was no longer on the ban list. A return for Nate during the Summer would be huge, especially since the August 4th card in Vegas is shaping out to be marvelous.

The last time we have seen Nick Diaz in the octagon was in 2015 against Anderson Silva in which both competitors failed a drug test after the bout. With Silva testing positive for multiple things and Nick only testing positive for Marijuana. As of April 9th, 2018 the news broke that Nick is now eligible to fight again.

There have been rumors flying in every direction with the biggest being a potential bout with former-Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. Recently on Bispings Podcast “Believe You Me” he stated how much interest he would have fought in a Catchweight bout for his retirement match, potentially with Nick Diaz and he seemed very open to it. Pictures surfaced of Nick signing a contract but it was unclear if it was an old picture and just like me everyone hopes it is very recent. A Diaz Vs Bisping would be nothing short of amazing and would definitely be a money fight for both fighters.

If Nick does indeed return to the octagon he will be walking into the cage with a record of 26 wins 9 losses and 2 no contests, he would then be able to add the name of Michael Bisping to his resume of incredible fights he has already had. The year is shaping out to be very good, but can Dana and the UFC drop a Diaz Bomb on the world, we will have to be patient and see.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
