T.J. Maxx, a place of comfort also called home. A place where high quality brands are affordable, customer service is great and those suffering from a bad day find joy. T.J. Maxx is home away from home. T.J. Maxx loves you when your child doesn't. It tells you "Buy those shoes" when your husband doesn't. It is a place where you're technically saving money because everything is technically on sale. I am a T.J. Maxx addict.
If you believe to be an addict yourself read below to see if these signs apply to your life.
1. You walk out with more than you came in for
Your list entailed a dog bowl, some pjs and a new rug. But somehow you come out with pillows, dresses, storage containers for the kitchen and some toy for the kid you might not even have.
2. T.J. Maxx might be the cause of your debt
Someone has to stop you before it's too late. You want everything but you just don't need it. Your mind is telling you yes, but your credit card is telling no.
3. When your friend says "Wanna go to T.J. Maxx?" you drop your entire life
Homework? Kids? Work? No, none of that matters anymore. There is nothing more important than a good sale on a marked down candle.
4. You're willing to fight to the death for that last pair of size 8 black stilettos
You believe this to be no joke, it is a serious matter. Those shoes are the last ones. The LAST.
5. You consider shopping at T.J. Maxx a sport
Think about it, you spend five days a week there. You walk a lot, those shoe fights burn calories, it's a sport.
6. You buy everything believing one day you'll find use for it
Every T.J. Maxx addict is guilty of this. It should be a diagnosis. I can't tell you the amount of random items I have hiding in my closet waiting for the day they will be needed.
7. You have the T.J. Maxx credit card
You believe this powerful card gives you the okay to swipe five times a week because every time you spend you rack up points.
If you read this through and agreed on everything you are an addict. Now that you recognize the symptoms it is time to get help. I am referring you to your local doctor. I too am a doctor of sorts, my therapy plan for you is shopping.
