Dear Fashion Designers, Must all shorts be up my a**?

Hello Fashion Moguls,

As a girl who loves looking fashionable, I appreciate your every attempt to make me look my best in the clothes I love. But I need to ask you one question:

Why must every pair of shorts be constantly riding up?

When I put on the shorts that you meticulously design and create in your factories and I stand still, the shorts look and feel amazing. When I start to walk around and do activities in them, however, they creep up which results in me picking a wedgie in public.

I've gotten over that, by the way, taking out a wedgie that my shorts have given me in public. Guys do it, hell, I've seen some women do it! So why can't I? But all I'm asking for is for shorts that don't ride up as I try to live my life as a fashionable human being.

And this isn't a problem that just pertains to me. Ladies everywhere are constantly dealing with shorts that, once in motion, are not as comfortable as they appear.

I don't pretend to know how making shorts works and I don't know why certain fabrics ride up more than others but I do have some suggestions as to how to fix the issue:

1. Make them out of actual jean material. The jean shorts that I have that are made of jean material are not as prone to ride up as shorts made of spandex that have a jean print on them.

2. Make the shorts, like, a HAIR longer. The longer they are down your leg, the less likely they are to ride up.

3. Or, just, you know, change the design of your shorts altogether.

Fashion designers, I don't think I'm asking for too much. It shouldn't be that hard to create shorts that are comfortable and that don't give me a wedgie.

Thank you for your time in reading this. I truly appreciate it.

From,

Me and every other girl on the planet

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
