A Definitive List Of The Top 9 Rides At Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is the happiest place on Earth, and what makes the happiest place on Earth even more amazing are the rides! So here are the top nine rides at Disney World that you should add to your to-do list for your next family vacation!

1.Tower of Terror

Located in Disney's Hollywood Studios, this attraction has proven to be one of the most thrilling rides on property.

2. Splash Mountain

Home to the Magic Kingdom and by far the best water ride at Disney World, the storytelling partnered with the thrill of the drop at the end are sure to make any rider come back for more!

3. Avatar Flight of Passage

Pandora, based in Animal Kingdom, is one of the newest additions to Walt Disney World. This 3D ride experience is so lifelike its crazy.

4. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

This is the only coaster on Walt Disney property that goes upside down and boy does it! With a total of 3 twists, this ride based in Hollywood Studios guarantees a thrill!

5. Soarin' Around the World

While EPCOT has fewer rides than the other parks, this one still deserves a spot in the top 10. It may not be a thrill but it is definitely a beautiful and calm ride that you will not want to miss while in the parks!

6. Space Mountain

Located in Magic Kingdom, this one is definitely on the more thrill seeking side of things, While pretty much in pitch black darkness for most of this coaster space mountain is definitely one you do not want to miss!

7. Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain

Animal Kingdoms largest attraction, Everest is very intimidating at first and not for ones who don't like a thrill. Once you're on you go forwards through the track before coming to a halt and then doing the track back before reversing back to forwards again. Keep your eyes open to... you might get a glimpse of the Yeti!

8. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Another Roller Coaster based in Magic Kingdom, this one takes you through a mountain side, and trust me the best time to ride it is during the Magic Kingdom fireworks show! It has the best view!

9. Test Track

Of the few rides in EPCOT, this may be the most thrilling. Prepare to race opponents on this track and have tons of fun while doing it!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Dealing with the inevitable realities of college life.

college students waiting in a long line in the hallway

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
