Death Should NOT be Feared
Spirit Soul

More than two thousand years back, the Greek rationalist Epicurus developed a contention against dreading passing that has since turned out to be significantly more conceivable: “Death does not concern us, because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist.” Epicurus was one of the principal atomists who trusted that everything comprises of material elements and that there are no souls that survive passing. On the off chance that your life closes at death, at that point you don't have anything to fear, on the grounds that there will be no YOU to encounter delight or torment. It's all finished when it's finished.

Obviously, there are different parts of passing on that merit dreading, for example, infection, incapacity, and the pain of individuals who think about you. Be that as it may, from the philosophical point of view that there is no eternal life, demise itself is nothing to fear.

Particularly in late decades, confirm has mounted that Epicurus was correct that brains are material procedures as opposed to heavenly souls. Psychological neuroscience is quickly creating analyses and hypotheses that help the claim that the ID of brain and mind gives the best clarification of individuals' abilities for recognition, thinking, dialect, and even awareness. In the event that the psyche is quite recently the cerebrum, at that point there is no psyche to encounter enduring of any sort when the mind quits working at death. Subsequently Epicurus was correct that there is nothing to fear. In the event that there were any great confirmation that life survives passing, at that point we would need to dismiss Epicurus' decision, yet marvels, for example, close demise encounters and séances can without much of a stretch be clarified away.

The dread of death holds on as a remnant of religious perspectives that declare that life on earth is only a piece of the presence of an endless soul. At that point religion turns into an answer for an issue that it has itself made: You might have the capacity to diminish your dread of death by trusting that you have discovered the correct religion that will guarantee that your the hereafter will be lovely. Subsequently religion enables a man to tilt from the dread driven surmising that passing is undermining to the spurred induction that it won't be so awful in the great beyond. Obviously, this induction expect that you have picked the correct religion.

In the event that I trusted that life survives demise, at that point I would be startled at the possibility of an unending length of time of anguish, since I would have no chance to get of knowing which religious convictions to embrace. Notwithstanding the distinctive fundamental religions, for example, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism, there are numerous variations, including many diverse renditions of Catholicism, Protestantism, and Islam. Speculating incorrectly could lead to issues in this life, as well as to endless discipline. Also, it is totally conceivable that the "right" religion hasn't been developed yet.

This assortment is one of the imperfections in Pascal's renowned bet that it is smarter to have faith in God, in light of the fact that if religion ends up being valid, at that point you get interminable reward, rather than agony unceasing discipline. This bet expect that you recognize what religion to wager on. Interestingly, let me offer Thagard's bet: it is better not to put stock in God, since then you don't need to endure a lifetime of agonizing over death and the correct religion! Cheerfully, this bet fits flawlessly with quickly creating proof that the psyche is recently the cerebrum. Consequently both derivation to the best clarification and surmising to the best arrangement bolster the conclusion that passing ought not be dreaded.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
