Dear High School Teachers,
As a freshman in high school, I was in a lot of distress. I was adjusting to a whole new setting both socially and academically. I felt so intimidated by the size of the school and the upperclassmen around me. They all seemed so confident and sure of themselves. This was scary because I felt so small, and my purpose was so unclear to me.
My high school experience quickly got better though because I began to realize that I was in good hands. I had some amazing adults to guide me through this transition and my entire high school life. These adults happened to be you! My teachers.
You were all dedicated, supportive and caring. It was you who molded me into the confident and responsible person I am today. When I struggled in class, you never gave up on me.
As an incoming high school freshman, I would have never expected that going to school would be enjoyable. You not only managed to keep me interested during class, but you also made me look forward to coming to school each day.
You are not only teachers to me. You are my role models, heroes and friends. Thank you for helping me create the best four years of my life!
Sincerely,
A student who misses you all very much.
