First let me apologize for the torture that I have inflicted on you and will continue to inflict until September 29th. I know you're going crazy trying to figure out who your big is, googling phone numbers, and swapping hints in your Pledge Class GroupMe. Trust me, we were all there and as much as we older sisters hated it when we went through it, it is absolutely hilarious to do it to you. Just remember that it's all out of fun and love. Enjoy this whole process, don't ruin it for yourself, because next year when you're an older sister, taking a little yourself, you're going to wish you could go back. I want to take a minute to make a few promises to you as your big and to make sure that you know that I love you! I promise to always be around and to never leave you. I want to be not only your mentor in our sorority but your best friend and I will do everything I can to build that type of relationship with you over the next few years. I promise to be your biggest fan and your support system through anything and everything. I hope that you do great things here on campus and with our sorority. Even if you're playing in an intramural game or running for an office, I will be there with the biggest and most embarrassing signs to cheer you on (just like a real mom). But most of all if you learn anything from me over our time together, I hope you learn what it means to be a good sister, I hope you stay involved and don't waste the precisous years you have here. I may not always set the best example by going to all of the events and mixers or even getting my study hours every week, but I love my sisterhood and I am so excited to get to share that with you. You are about to be so spoiled by your entire new family, soak it up. Enjoy it. Be grateful. You have no idea how many hours were put into making this special for you.
Also, one last promise, I promise not to put glitter in your car. My big did that. It's still there.
