It was said over and over, “winter is coming” everyone laughed and said “When? There are only 4 Starks left,” (but that’s beside the point.)
Everyone was wishing for winter, and, well, here we are. I’ve worn double shirts, double pants, boots, and a winter jacket and I am still freezing cold.
I don’t think that looking at the temp on my phone and seeing 37 degrees then saying “Ooh, it looks like it will warm up today,” is normal at all. Yes, it is way better than it being 15 degrees out or if it feels like it's -2 degrees (because of the wind), but I ask, CAN WE GET SNOW?
Look, it's simple: it’s already cold and we still have to go to work, but if it snowed we would have an excuse to stay indoors. Also, I know it’s flat Kansas but why is it so windy? At this point, I wish I was Dorothy and that Oz was this warm and sunny place.
Wichita *rolls eyes* (and Kansas,) I’ve learned to love you, but why can’t we get snow and stay indoors? Houston got snow, and it hasn’t snowed there in nine years!
The only thing I’m saying is that, if I have to wake up for work in 6-degree weather, I’m taking a blanket with me. Also, winter is only nice from indoors because (even with snow) at some point you have to go outside. Kansas, I just want you to warm up a bit.
As for now, I’m dreaming of sunny beaches, 80-degree weather, no clouds or wind in the sky, and a mojito in my hand. I'm constantly visiting Hawaii, Cancun, Cozumel, The Bahamas, Copa Cabana, Bahia, Tulum, and endless clear blue beaches in my mind.
