There's nothing wrong with a little dry humor and sarcasm every now and then, but there's a fine line between "just being sarcastic" and being a little bit of a sarcastic a**hole. But some people, take Dean Winchester from Supernatural, have that persona down-pat and have come to accept that about themselves.

Are you a sarcastic a**hole? Not sure?

Let's run through a few indicators that could suggest you might be one...and of course, who better to help you figure that out than the connoisseur himself...Dean Winchester.

1. You can only take so much stupidity from people.

You know, the whole "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all?" Well, that kind of applies here.

2. No one knows when you're being serious anymore.

And when you are being serious, people are still asking you to get serious.

3. You've lost control of what your face does when having to deal with people

"Don't roll your eyes at me." "...Did I?"

4. But because of that (among other things), some people honestly think you hate them, but you really don't.

Wait, what now?

5. So you end up having to try way too hard to convince them that no wait, you do really like them, honest!

And you can feel your eye twitch and your lip crack a little because wow, you really aren't used to smiling this much, especially around people.

6. But because your face isn't used to emoting so much, it all comes out really weird and you end up kind of freaking the person out even more.

...Welp.

7. But every once in a while, you'll run into someone who combats your sarcasm with THEIR OWN sarcasm.

Did you-...was that-...

8. And then you enter a semi-existential crisis.

"Oh my God...maybe...I'm not a sarcastic a**hole? Maybe I'm normal?"

9. Only to realize later, when you've once again offended or confused someone that same day, that you're exactly what you thought you were.

Nope, still the same. All good.

10. So you simply accept how you are and deal with the consequences later.

Don't get me wrong here. In many circumstances, it is very much not appropriate to be so so sarcastic. But in accepting and acknowledging the fact that you are or may be a sarcastic a**hole...it becomes easier to control when and where you use it. Take it from Dean and take it from me, being sarcastic is great, but save it for the people who deserve it - or at least for the ones who'll know you're just being sarcastic.

...Or don't, you know, it's all up to you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
