If you're a true coffee addict, you know what happens when you skip your daily cup of caffeine. The lack of productivity, the headaches, the irritability; the list goes on. Here is how a day in the life of not having coffee would go, but let's hope we never live to see this day.

1. The moment you realize you overslept and you won't have time for coffee.

Ross basically said it all. Double sad face if this happens to be on a Monday morning.

2. When you rush to get ready in hopes of still making it through the Starbucks drive-thru without being late for school/work.

This involves throwing on anything in sight, usually your outfit from the day before that's still laying on the floor.

3. Getting to Starbucks and realizing you're never gonna make it if you wait in this line.

When you'd rather die than wait in this line, but you'd also rather die than go the whole day without coffee, so it's a tough choice on this one.

4. When you begin to feel a headache coming on.

It's like you're being punished for going on an involuntary cleanse from caffeine...what is this!?

5. When you spot someone with a warm coffee in their hand.

When you're willing to break out into a full-on fight for a cup of coffee, you know you have a problem.

6. When you can feel any motivation you had slowly dying off.

Yeah, enough said.

7. When you can't stop thinking about how nice a cup of coffee would be right now.

That it is, all warm and cozy.

8. When someone notices you haven't had your coffee.

If you're not a morning person before coffee, it's definitely not going unnoticed when you don't have a cup.

9. When you can smell someone else's coffee brewing.

Taking in that delicious smell like...

10. When someone asks if you want to make a coffee run.

UMMM DUH!!!!

So fellow coffee addicts, let's pray we never live to see the day where coffee isn't a part of our routine.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
