Hey, y'all welcome back to my Youtube channel.

I'm just kidding. Hey everyone my name is Rachel Weaver but you can call me Rachel Danae. I am a freshman at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. And I am a BFA- Dance Major and a BS- Public Relations Major. Let's get to it!!!

We start our day off waking up at 7:30.

I normally have ballet at 8 am so I wake up around 7:30, grab a granola bar and hit the road on my board. (I sound like I'm driving 15 miles when I'm just walking 5 mins)

Contemporary and Communication Classes from 11am- 3pm

Tuesdays are my longest days since I have 3 classes. Because of COVID I take my Contemporary Dance class on zoom at 11 am, eat a full breakfast then go to my communication class at 2.

In between class I hang with the gang

When I have breaks I like to either hit up the dining hall with friends or hang at our plaster student union.

Meeting time!!

Majority of the time I have ABC, RHA or Bear Leads meeting throughout the week at the end of the day. If I don't have a meeting you will find me in my friend Zaria's room chilling with friends.

My schedule is not that adventurous or amazing but it is pretty easy. So I spend the majority of my time studying/ doing homework or hanging with friends. However, I did join an Intramural Soccer team so that should spice my week up a little bit. Tuesdays are probably when I'm most busy because I have classes the majority of the day. But I love being a double major because I love both my majors and classes and I just love staying busy. So that's a little spill into my college life. See y'all later!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
