People with anxiety aren't always a hot mess to deal with, but sometimes, they can have their days. That doesn't mean you should run the other way, though.

1. Sometimes they have off days

Sometimes, they will have completely normal days—they will be able to function without a problem. Even with those good days, there will be days that they just break down. They won't want to talk to people. They won't want to function like normal adults. All they will want to do is sulk around and be in their own little world.

2. They overthink EVERYTHING

You could change your tone slightly and they might think they ruined everything. If instead of a "good morning, baby" text, you send a "good morning", and they'll think about what they could have done to upset you. They'll wonder if you're just waiting to end things at any second.

3. They need more reassurance than usual

Sometimes, you just need to tell them how much you love them. They need you to tell them that they matter and that they are pretty, handsome, or whatever. They need to know that you care more than they need to know that the sky is blue.

4. They have really good days

Even though they have really bad days—days that literally make you question if they are actually human or just a figment of your imagination—they have extremely good days. There will be days that they will be so happy that you wish they would just sit down and be quiet for two seconds. But they are good days.

5. They second-guess their every step

Situation: They go to buy you a drink, but you tell them that you honestly don't care what they get you. They would panic and worry about it. They will think that you're just testing them and are waiting for them to mess up.

6. Sometimes they just want to stay home and do nothing

Being around people will literally exhaust them. After a few hours, they will just want to go home and sleep the day away. So give them days at home, just the two of you. Read a book, watch a movie, have a nap date—just do anything to give them time to regenerate.

7. They will always want to please you

They will always be worried that they are going to upset you. They will do anything and everything for you. If you don't tell them to stop doing things for you, they will focus their life on that very thing.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
