7 Things You Need To Know Before Dating An Ambitious Girl Who Loves Hard

In This Article:

This girl loves differently than any other because she knows who she is. She has never questioned her 'true self' because she has always been a strong, ambitious girl since day one.

1. She needs some control in every situation, or she will lose it.

Surprises? No. Spontaneous ideas that she had no part in planning? Hard no.

When she is comfortable with someone she will let go (a little) but that will not happen overnight. The good thing is she is the most reliable and dependable person you will ever meet.

2. If someone called her a follower, she would laugh in their face.

Because she is deadline-driven, competitive, and organized, she is the one who delegates tasks to a team of people. If you go on a group road trip, expect her to have an itinerary planned ahead of time—mostly because she does not trust anyone else to do so.

3. She shoots for the moon and will not settle for landing among the stars.

Her sense of motivation and drive is insane. This girl is her own biggest critic and will not settle for a half-done job.

When it comes to your relationship, she will make it the best she possibly can, give you her all every single day.

4. Going to bed mad does not fly with her.

If there is something up between the two of you, she wants to solve it as soon as possible. She will be up at 3 am arguing until she is red in the face and her eyes cannot even cry anymore.

But only because she cares so much about your relationship that she is willing to stay up and fight it out till you make up.

5. She does not take 'no' very lightly, but she is trying.

She knows exactly what she wants in life if someone tells her she cannot do something, it makes her want to do it even more. She loves a good challenge, especially if it means proving someone wrong.

But to her, you are the most important thing in her life, so she is willing to take a chill pill once in a while. But not every day obviously.

6. She is going to try and fix you, but only with your best interests at heart.

She has made plenty of mistakes herself and does not want to see you make the same ones. If you are about to take a risk, she will surely be the one to point out every caveat.

With her guidance, you will never wonder if you are making the wrong decision.

7. Feeling needed is greater than everything.

This goes for both of you. She wants you to make her feel like she is the reason you wake up in the morning because she would never let you go a day without feeling that.

You will have plenty of moves to thank her for in the future.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
