Know Your Meme

). Just be yourself. This may sound original, but it's true! Don't pretend to be someone you're not. It'll work better in the end if you just be yourself. If he doesn't like you for who you are, that is his loss- not yours!

). Remember: a cover is not the book. Get to know him before you trust him. Just because he may seem nice on the outside or doesn't look like the kind of guy who would hurt you, doesn't mean that on the inside. Looks can be deceiving.3). Tell a friend or family member where you're going. You may or not like this one, but it is a good idea. Because if any thing goes wrong, or if they worry that you're still out really late, at least they would have an idea of where you are.

). If you feel uncomfortable at any point, say something. You CAN control it. If he still persists, get out. Not doing either will only make things worse.

). He may not be the boy of your dreams, but that's okay. Your first date is something you will remember for the rest of your life. Just relax, have a little fun, and enjoy it while it lasts. When Prince Charming does come along, you'll know.
