As we go through life, we're constantly learning, changing and adapting. For most of our lives were in school, through those years we change, and when a change occurs our body and mind somehow has to adapt to the current situation.

For most of our lives, we strive to be better and become better people so that we can be a contributing member of society. Today women are stronger than ever, we have become some of the greatest leaders in society. Which has led young women everywhere to have a higher standard for themselves. But in the mix of our hectic schedules and busy lives, we often forget to tell ourselves some of the daily reminders.

When you wake up in the morning, remind yourself that it's a new day.

Sometimes we let a bad day, turn into a bad week. Every day, you get a full twenty-four hours to make it different than the last. Positivity will get you far.

School is some of the greatest and most stressful times of your life. Remind yourself to embrace it because it won't last forever.

Remind yourself that in the midst of midterms, finals, weeks with tests in every class, that it will be worth it in the end. Because one day you're going to look back and laugh at the fact that you waited until the night before to write a paper or study for a final.

One of the biggest reminders on this list is that everything will work out.

Sometimes it might feel like it's all too much. But whatever is thrown your way, you can handle it. More often than not, girls feel like they're so alone. It's not until they open up, that they realize they have a much larger support system than they thought. Life may not always be picture perfect, but the biggest struggles help us find our strength. You become stronger and wiser through these experiences.

Every woman deserves to feel confident and loved. Remind yourself that you are beautiful, inside and out.

Confidence isn't always easy to achieve, but everyone deserves to feel it. Embrace what makes you who you are. Love yourself, change yourself for you not for someone else.

Lastly, walk out every day reminding yourself that you can do this!

There's no book telling us how to live life the "right" way. Live life to the fullest, in an instant everything can change. Call your parents and tell them you love them, hug your dog because you can, forgive when you know you should and live each day like it's your last. We can plan our lives on paper all we want but instead of planning your life... Live it instead.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
