Dear Daddy,
Every day I'm getting older and older, I'm entering my second year of college this upcoming fall. I know you never cry and you're never sad, but I know that you're seeing me drive alone, live in another state, and be in a serious relationship. I want to write this letter to you, because I know you're not into the corny, deep talks.
I'll always be your little girl.
No matter who I'm dating, where I live, or what I'm doing, you will always be the number one man in my life. Whenever I'm home, I'll still be as excited as I was as child and jump, hug, and kiss you when you came in through the door after work. I know that when I'm going through a breakup, I can rely on you and only you to make me laugh, smile. You'll remind me that life will go on and that I will always have my dad there by my side.
I'll always go out to dinner with you.
No matter how old I am, I'll never be embarrassed to go to wing night with you on Tuesdays. To be honest, I'd love to be able to go to dinner with you, because I know we'll always have something to talk about. Plus, we'll never fight.
Thanks for everything you gave me.
I know I'm spoiled. The difference between me and other girls is that I'm so incredibly grateful for everything you have provided for me. From baby toys to gas money, clothes, and most importantly your love-- thank you for helping me grow up happy and healthy.
Thank you for listening to me.
When other people don't want to hear my constant questions or opinions any longer, you are always by my side to hear what I have to say.
Thank you for loving me for who I am, no matter what phase of life I'm going through. Thank you for treating me like a princess when I think that no one else will.
I love you more than anyone.
