I've been given a lot of sh*t as to why I don't watch Fox or CNN; why I don't read The New York Times or The Post. When I say "it makes me sad," people read that as being "uneducated," "uncultured," or worse, "immature."
So to validate my point, I searched "Newspaper headlines 2017" and this is what the majority of it looked like:
Notice how NONE of this was positive news. It's depressing as f*ck. I had to find specific platforms that target towards spreading positivity. In a world that we live in today, shouldn't there be more of this? I'm no psychologist (yet), but I think that it would benefit the population to hear more about the positive stuff happening around the world. Yes, knowing about worldly issues that are going on in Korea and national news such as the fight against DACA are super important, but why can't we see positive things?
I have decided to do a little bit of digging, and by a little, I mean A LOT of digging. As someone who wants to believe in the greater good and change my views on the world we live in, this was good for me to do. I think it will be good for you to see and I encourage you to share this with your friends, peers, teachers, etc...because everyone needs some positivity in their lives.

There are so much more beyond these four. I used Positive.News and Zen Habits but trust me, positive news is in the little nooks and crannies of our everyday lives. Search up positive news and you will get little stories of happiness.
And if that fails, think of rainbows and puppies taking their first baths, or babies laughing. That's always fun too.
