When we're younger, we look forward to receiving toys and other presents for Christmas, but as we grow older, we usually want things that are harder to wrap in a box (some things still fit though, of course). Take a look at this Christmas list to find out what a typical college student wants this year.
1. Cash
Most of my family members complain that cash is not a Christmas gift, and while they may be right, that doesn't mean that I don't desperately need it. Plus, I'd use it more than any other gift anyone would buy me.
2. Gift cards
This one might only be slightly better than the first, but hey, give me a break, I'm a broke college student. There's honestly nothing I'd love more than grocery and gas cards for Christmas, especially because that's where all my money goes.
3. A 4.0 GPA
Alas, this one can't be bought, and while it's probably wishful thinking, a girl can dream, right?
4. Dunkin Donuts & Starbucks ANYTHING
A gift card? A mug? A pound of peppermint coffee? Buy me literally anything from either of these places, and I'll be smiling from ear to ear.
5. A job or an internship
For seniors looking for a full-time job offer and sophomores and juniors searching for an internship, this would be the best Christmas gift EVER. There's nothing like taking the next step in your career to get in the Christmas spirit (at least I think so)!
6. A puppy
In all honesty, I could have seven dogs and still want another one for Christmas. Shout to my favorite dog, KiKi. You'll always be my number one!
7. Fuzzy socks
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm always freezing, and I could use a little warmth and comfort on cold winter nights.
8. Bath & Body Works / LUSH products
I use body gel religiously, and bath bombs are so relaxing. The scents alone though just put me in an excellent mood. Gingerbread house? Warm vanilla? Chocolate peppermint? Count me in.
9. Printer ink
Now this one might be lame as anything, but ink is expensive! I run out of it so quickly, and I hate buying it, so I might as well throw it on the list, right?
10. Stress-free living
This is definitely a stretch because people experience stress in all walks of lives. Nevertheless, it's still something to hope for, even if it only lasts until the end of January when I go back to school for the spring semester.
While this list only scratches the surface, it's a good place to start. However, the most important thing I want for Christmas is to spend time relaxing with friends and family, but I don't think I have to wish for that one because I get that experience every year.
