Ah, yes.
Cuffing season has arrived and the last of us have not yet found the one to bring home to family, go ice skating with, or go for walks underneath the lights with. While it is one of the most happiest times of the year, singles still struggle to find things to look forward to since there is no one to hold their cold, dry hands during the holiday seasons.
Here are 15 Thanksgiving dishes to look forward to during your single season.
1. Green Bean Casserole
How many green beans can you fit inside a casserole?
2. Rolls
Google calls this “small bread” but really it is just rolls. Let’s all agree on this.
3. Stuffing
This is called stuffing because you will feel stuffed afterward. Ha, ha get it. I don’t even like stuffing.
4. Mashed Potatoes
Ah. The glorious white mountains of goodness, dripping with gravy. My favorite.
5. Squash
Is it yellow? Is it orange? Who cares. Both are delicious.
6. Pumpkin Pie
This is the dish that brings a family together or tears it apart. Do not be that family member that uses up all the whipped cream before the pie tin is emptied.
7. Apple Crisp
Crispy apples? Sounds like a good idea, especially glazed over vanilla ice cream.
8. Corn Bread
A bread made out of corn? Let’s do it. Sorry I cannot come up with a cornier joke.
9. Black or Green Olives
I usually eat all the black olives out of the can before they make it to the table. Try pregaming with olives this Thanksgiving season.
10. Sweet Potatoes
Potatoes...but sweet.
11. Cranberry Sauce
The only type of sauce to get lost in this holiday season.
12. Cheesecake
Is this even a Thanksgiving dish? Is this even cake?
13. Corn, Peas, Carrots...
Vegetables. They’re good for you and a vegetarian's only option.
14. Creamed Corn
There’s a difference between corn and creamed corn I’m assuming.
15. Turkey
If there’s a wishbone, wish for a significant other to spend Christmas with.
