The Wizard Of Oz, Harry Potter, Marvel. What do these things have in common? They're a product of a brilliant mind that shaped American media but inspired others to create their own works, hoping that they become the next big thing. We all want to create something that will have an impact on society, and I think that's important.
Some will say that creativity isn't necessary for society but I disagree with that. Creativity isn't always about artistry stuff, it can be used for more innovative things. Suppose your a Software Engineer, a CEO, or a Journalist. You need to come up with a solution that will save the company or you're out of a job. You come up with the perfect remedy and you show it to your superiors and they approve of your idea. Your idea is then presented to the public and it becomes a trending topic across social media. Not only your idea is popular, but you might become a millionaire as well (that's if it matters to you).
I have this great idea, but I don't have the creative juices to do so!
We've all been at that place where the creativity wasn't exactly there and had to dig deep in order to get them out. Think about why you want to create your own Intellectual Property (I.P.). There are many reasons why people create their own I.P, either to dedicate a family member, improve the lives of the disabled, or to tell a cultural story that nobody has ever heard of. Figure out that reason and use that reason to build upon that idea. Still, stuck on that idea? Ask the people around if it's good. Depending on the opinions, move on with that idea. When it's to your perfection, show that innovative idea to a well-known company or do it independently. A lot can happen after you publish your idea, it can be well-received or be met with ridicule. Creativity can be used to make lives easier or to just simply entertain. Whatever the reason, creativity is a pivotal part on how a society operates. Without it, where will we be?
