To My Friends, Thank You For Inspiring Me
Preservation Of Moments

So, this week's article is going to be a tribute to all the amazing, creative people I'm blessed to call my friends. Where I live, I could very easily be in with a whole different crowd, but I didn't gravitate towards that. Instead of just falling into people who live around here who tend to fall into vices, I got further into art, music and photography in my teenage years. I became obsessed for a period with taking portraits of myself, which eventually fueled my bigger love for photography. These days I have photography blog with over 1,700 photos!

You are all amazing creative souls, and you inspire me each and every day to continue following my destiny. When I see you guys producing new works, I want to make new works. I can't hesitate because I know this is what I'm meant to do. I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by those who bring out the best in me and motivate me to keep going and strive to be better.

This is the casual part of the article where I'm going to do some name dropping, so here's a shoutout to all my best people: Jim, Chris, Josh, Taylor, Laura, Marsha, Sydney, Sierra, Tara, Angie, Tess, Nicholas, Alex, Christian, Jesse, Andrew, Matt, Brandi, Maggie, Paulett, Sami, Kristen, Ray, Mark, Hiroko, Akemi, and Colleen, to name just a few.

I cannot thank all of you enough seeing my vision and I'm so happy we're all friends. We're changing the world with our creativity, and we're not stopping. We're the glue holding this chaotic world together, and our creations allow us to find calm in the storm. I would never want to be anyone else, and I treasure every one of you guys.

This article is about all the amazing, inspiring people I've met in life, through Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram. You are all people who I love having as my friends and you make me feel inspired to create. You all see me as I am, and what I'm about. We're on the same wavelength. It seems that we're all crossing paths at the right point in time. I'm beyond happy that we all know each other, and that we understand and are able to explore all our creative attempts together.

Thank you for being the amazing, creative souls that you all are. Keep doing what you do.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
