"Extrovert- an outgoing, overtly expressive person."
"Introvert-a shy, reticent person."
These terms are commonly discussed when it comes to distinguishing personalities and characteristics.
I consider myself am ambivert, a mixture of both an introvert and extrovert. I have moments of wanting to be alone and moments of being a social butterfly. My moments of being alone is nothing to be taken personal or aimed offensive towards anyone. Most people think that I'm the quiet one. Well they are wrong.
I was never an individual whom was used to the social obstacles that are dealt with on the daily basis (i.e. dating, social life, partying, drinking, you name it). There were times when I felt that it was too overwhelming that all I wanted to do was dig a hole, bury the dirt over me, and never come out. Over the years, however, I have learned to adapt towards certain situations that are handed down to me. Most of all, take every single situation handed down and built it as a positive lesson for myself.
Sometimes I'm an introvert. Sometimes I'm an extrovert. I'm am ambivert. Most of all, I'm an extroverted introverted butterfly cracking out if its cocoon from the struggles, complications, hardships, and roller-coaster ride of obstacles called life.
