Sometimes, it can get tiring listening to the same Christmas songs over and over again. I have to admit, sometimes I see myself skipping over "All I Want for Christmas is You" on my radio.
But no matter how many times the same Christmas music is played, it will always be a staple during the holiday season and will always put me in the Christmas spirit.
But it's not wrong to spice up your holiday playlist sometimes. I love country, and sometimes, country is looked at as just a summer genre. In reality, there are some really good country holiday hits out there that should be appreciated.
I decided to make a country holiday playlist. As I said, there are so many great country holiday hits that it would be crazy to list all of them. So, I listed 11 of my favorite holiday country hits.
Some of the songs listed are covers of the original, but they are still just as good. Sometimes, it's nice to hear a different version of the song, too. You might even realize that some of the holiday songs we listen to regularly actually fits in the country genre.
I hope they get you in the Christmas spirit as much as they do for me.
1. "Silent Night" - Johnny Cash
2. "Christmas in the Country" - Thomas Rhett
3. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" - Dan + Shay
4. "Winter Wonderland" - Brad Paisley
5. "Baby, It's Cold Outside" - Lady Antebellum
6. "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" - Brenda Lee
7. "Run Run Rudolph" - Luke Bryan
8. "White Christmas" - Darius Rucker
9. "Jingle Bell Rock" - Brenda Lee
10. "Let It Be Christmas" - Alan Jackson
11. "Last Christmas" - Taylor Swift
I hope this list inspired you to add a few of these songs to your holiday playlist. It's never too late, and a nice playlist is great for decorating during the holidays and spending time with your family.
Happy Holidays!
