While the tour just ended, if you were lucky enough to catch headliner Shelton along with special guest Trace Adkins, and openers Brett Eldredge and Carly Pearce, chances are you also found it to be a spectacular concert. With plenty of catchy upbeat tunes and heartfelt ballads, it proved to be quite a show. Gwen Stefani even made an appearance to sing her duet with Shelton, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
Carly Pearce said ‘thank you’ to the boy who broke her heart as “Every Little Thing” was the product of her breakup and is the song that made her famous. A new hit from Pearce, “Hide The Wine” is a recently released single that has a great twang to it and is slowly closing the gap behind her most played song on Spotify, “ Every Little Thing.”
Brett Eldredge had a special guest on stage, his dog Edgar, with him to perform a trick for the audience. It is safe to say that his dog stole the show. “The Long Way” is currently his number one hit, but he has many other crowd favorites. “Haven’t Met You” is a rather sad, slow song as he admits to not having found the perfect girl for him yet. With his charm and talent, any girl would be lucky to date Eldredge and many wonder how he is still single.
The Voice judge Blake Shelton did not disappoint fans with his outstanding performance. He is a great performer and it was nice getting to hear his story behind why he got into the music industry. One of his most recent songs “I Lived It” explains the humble upbringing of Shelton. “I’ll Name the Dogs,” “A Guy With a Girl,” “Sangria” and “Every Time I Hear That Song” were among some of the other hits performed.
Mid-way through Shelton’s act the legendary Trace Adkins came out to sing a few of his songs, and Shelton joined him for several numbers as well. All in all, it's safe to safe the Country Music Freaks tour was a success.
