Every girl has their type. You know exactly what I am talking about. The ones we swoon over. The ones we can't help but stare at when they walk by. The ones that make us shake our heads, smile, and think about how lucky we are to be graced with their presence.

Let's be honest. Sometimes, boys make us stand around with our mouths agape, in awe.

Yeah, sometimes they are just that hot.

That remarkable.

That... swoon-worthy.

With this in mind, it's fair to say that many college girls are attracted to the stereotypical college boy, wearing pastel, slip-ons, a pair of shades, and above all else, a white snapback that's cleaner than anything else she's ever seen. They're attracted to the boy who chugs a Bud Light at frat parties and socializes with his bros in such a way that she feels like an outsider.

Then, there are the girls that love themselves a country boy.

And here's why.

1. They know how to let loose

Forget the frat party full of guys you don't know. Forget the fancy dinner dates. Instead, you'll be spending your Fridays riding around in his truck singing along to the radio on the way to a bonfire with his best buds. What more could you ask for?

2. They have manners

Mama raised him to treat a lady right, and his dad raised him to be respectful, always. He will shake your dad's hand and call him "sir", but also hug your mom, kiss her on the cheek, and call her "Ma" when enough time has passed. He'll hold open the door for you, but maybe smack your butt on the way through. He's respectful, regardless.

3. You can always count on going to a country music festival

You say beer and live music, and he's there in two seconds flat. This means, of course, that you get to join him. Better bring your favorite cutoffs, your boots, and your plaid button-up.

4. They (kind of) know how to sing

If you have a favorite country jam, chances are your boy will try his best to serenade you with it, with a fake twang in his voice and all. Hey, he's trying his best.

5. They can always rock a flannel and a good pair of jeans

Hot damn. Enough said.

6. They have the goal of starting a family

These boys will always be goal-oriented. They want to start a family someday but have a love story like their mom and dad first. They want to own a house on acres of land and have a truck that they spent months saving up for.

7. They know when not to have manners

Yeah, I'm talking about ass grabbing and sweet nothings whispered in your ear in the middle of a crowded party because he just can't wait to get you home.

8. They always flaunt that sexy country drawl

Even if it's fake.

You can keep your frat boy. I prefer mine in a flannel with a country drawl.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
