Recently, Apple just revealed the new iPhone 8 and iPhone X. I have been waiting for them to reveal it for a while. I've been wanting to upgrade from the 6s for a while now. It seems like the phone you have messed up when there is a new iPhone coming out.

The new iPhone X and the iPhone 8 are both very nice looking phones. I knew for a fact that I was going to upgrade to one of them. As I did my research on both the phones, I decided that the iPhone X was the one that I wanted. So, as I was looking at all the features the iPhone X would have, I ran across the price.

I had a mini heart attack when I saw it too. The phone is $999 if you decide to pay in full (for 64 GB). That's right, $999. Oh, get this, a 256 GB is a little over $1,100! Is it even worth it? That phone costs the same as my MacBook. Right now at Verizon, an iPhone 7 costs $649.99 and the iPhone 6s costs $549.99. There is also the option to do monthly payments.

The iPhone X uses face detection to unlock your phone instead of fingerprints. I like the idea of the fingerprints because a fingerprint is unique to you. I'm sure the face detection would not recognize me when I just woke up from a good nights sleep. Everyone knows I look rough in the morning. I also look different if I wear my glasses. That should be fun.

My little cousins who are 6 and 5 love playing games on my phone. Well, that will end if I get the iPhone X. Costing that much, I cannot let anything happen to it. I recommend getting it insured. That's what I did with my 6s when it first came out.

I told my mom that I wanted the iPhone X and that did not go over well. I guess I need to start saving my money. I'll be that person who gets the most expensive phone ever. I believe the iPhone 8 will be released this month, costing around $699. The iPhone X might be out around October. I might just settle for the iPhone 8.

So what do you think? Is the iPhone X worth the money? Would you pay $999 for a cell phone?

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
