The Coronavirus is becoming a pandemic across the world. Colleges are closing their doors, businesses are telling their employees to stay home. But what really is the Coronavirus? According to the CDC website, the virus first appeared in Wuhan, China. It has spread across the globe impacting different countries at different rates.

Many people are blaming different countries and cultures for the spread of the disease. Race/Ethnicity has NOTHING to do with it.

Common symptoms include: runny nose, sore throat, headache, fever, cough, and an all over general feeling of being unwell.
3. What do I do if I contract the virus?
SELF-QUARANTINE, call your local health care provider and let them know and they will further instruct you on how to properly care for yourself.
4. How do I prevent myself from getting the virus
Wash your hands often, keep distance between yourself and others, stay home if you are sick, clean/disinfect often.
5. What are the treatments?
There is no specific treatment for the virus, however, to make yourself more comfortable, take pain and fever medications (no aspirins for children), drink lots of liquids, and stay home and rest.
