1. I'm not sure if I'm hungry or bored.

Maybe a little bit of both?

2. And when I do decide I'm hungry, I don't know what meal I'm hungry for.

Can I eat dinner at 2am?

3. My house feels a lot like this.


My air conditioning won't work, and it's too challenging for my jetlag brain to figure out how to fix it. I really don't know why it's this hard.

4. What time even is it? Honestly, I'm just very confused.

My phone says one time, my watch says another, and my laptop says something different entirely.

5. I'm very moody right now. Sorry, I promise it's just the jetlag.

Yes, dad, I did just cry/yell at you for half an hour blaming you that my laptop charger was missing, when it was in my bag all along. So sorry.

6. Yes, I am about as dirty as I look.

I've literally travelled across the world in 48 hours. Please don't judge me.

7. And no, I probably will not bother putting any effort into my appearance tomorrow.

For fear I might end up looking a little bit like this.

8. I am so deggaltej...

I mean jetlagged... nothing is making sense right now.

9. Even coffee won't help me now.

What time does Starbucks open?

10. Why am I even productive right now?

I'm writing this in the middle of the night, when it would seem my productivity has hit an all time high. What's even going on?

11. Uh oh. Here comes the sun.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
