With the summertime upon us, everyone is ready to lose some money and make some memories doing it. Columbus is offering plenty of opportunities to do just that, all while seeing your favorite artists. Here's a list of some of the biggest concerts coming up so you can be sure that you and your besties don't miss your favorite artist when they come through.
1. Mikky Ekko
Although he is lesser known, he collaborated with Rihanna to make the song "Stay," a song that is definitely known. If you don't know him, learn a few more songs and head to his concert for the heck of it! If you do know him, this is your opportunity to see him live. The concert is May 9th, so save the date!
2. Rodney Atkins
This show is taking place at Tequila Cowboy in Columbus on May 10th. Grab some friends, do some line dancing, and enjoy the show!
3. Vance Joy
Plenty of us know the song "Riptide," but if you're a Vance Joy fanatic, he'll be at EXPRESS LIVE! on May 17th. It's a can't-miss opportunity.
4. Rock on The Range
Of course, there's always the famous Rock on the Range, which is an entire weekend dedicated to rock music and concerts. Some bands in the lineup include Alice in Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Machine Gun Kelly, Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, and more. The festivities begin May 18th!
5. Kenny Chesney and Thomas Rhett
Along with these two huge country stars, Old Dominion and Brandon Lay will be at this concert. It's a jam-packed show taking place June 16th at Mapfre Stadium, so grab your tickets and enjoy some country music.
6. Sam Smith
No one can deny that they'd love to hear Sam Smith's angelic voice live, so mark yourself with plans on June 23rd so that you can make it to Nationwide Arena. You may want to bring a box of tissues along.
7. Paramore and Foster the People
EXPRESS LIVE! on June 28th. Be there.
8. Taylor Swift
Will she play her old country? Will she play her new pop? Who knows, but come to find out on July 7th at the Ohio Stadium.
9. Panic! At the Disco
Hayley Kiyoko and Arizona will also be joining on July 15th for an awesome, can't-miss concert.
10. Beyonce and Jay-Z
It's hard to not want to see this couple live and in action together. August 16th at Ohio Stadium is where to be.
