The words "sold out" illuminates the screen outside of Madison Square Garden as thousands of fans pack into the lobby all for Halsey's final show on the final installment of her Badlands Tour.

The 21-year-old, New Jersey native, Halsey (born Ashley Frangipane) sold out the iconic Madison Square Garden less than a month after announcing the show, just weeks after releasing her first album "Badlands."

The lights go down and red lights light up the stage as a Japanese melody plays in the background. She appears standing on top of a screen on stage for her opening song "Gasoline." The crowd screams as she takes the stage and begins singing the first verse. After that moment, it was never silent. The crowd screamed every word to every song back to her.

Shortly after the show began, in the middle of her third song "Castle," a few technical difficulties arose causing her to restart the show. "I will not do this show unless it is perfect for you and it is perfect for me" Halsey screams as she walks back to her starting position restarting the entire show over again.

Halsey performed songs such as her newest collaboration "Closer" with The Chainsmokers who even made a surprise appearance to perform the song with her. Along with songs from her new album such as "Hold Me Down," "Roman Holiday" and "Colors," she also performed older songs such as "New Americana," "Is There Somewhere" from her first EP, Room 93, and her very first single "Ghost."

Before "Ghost," she tells the emotional story of her inspiration to write music and how she came up with her name, Halsey, during a train ride home from an Ed Sheeran concert. "I looked up and I saw the sign for Halsey Street. It was on the train home from Madison Square Garden that I got the name Halsey, and now that girl gets to perform here. So Halsey, she picked her name that night and she went home and she said to herself I'm going to write songs and I'm really going to do this. I'm going to be a musician and I'm going to do this."

After about an hour and a half, she concludes the show with her song "Young God," dedicating it to everybody in the audience. After ending her final song and exiting the stage, the lights stay down for one last surprise. The stage lit up one last time as many images flash upon the screen. Shocked fans shriek as the screens lit up white with the message "You can find me in the kingdom" before fading to black and the lights go back up in the arena. As we close out the Badlands era, is this possibly a hint for Halsey's next era?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
