Common Strange Experiences Every Woman Goes Through

The struggles of being a lady.

As a woman, there are weird and repetitive parts of life that we all experience no matter how different we may be. This is a list of all of those struggles that we all instantly laugh and bond over as women because it's hard out here for a female.

1. Heading to the bathroom because you swore Aunt Flow just dropped in on you

It's just that weird feeling you get in the pit of your stomach that feels like it can only be one thing. The only thing that makes this moment worse is when you find out that you were right and now your entire day is ruined.

2. Wearing a dress or skirt and trying not to touch an entire public seat

This may only affect the girls who hate germs, but as one of those girls, I can say it's a horrifying moment.

3. Arm pain from doing anything concerning hair

Whether it's straightening, curling, or drying your hair the pain in your shoulders just isn't fair. You get half way done with one side and need a 10-minute break just to consider continuing and not cutting all of it off.

4. Bras

No extra details are needed. Bras are just uncomfortable. They hurt, they're itchy, and (hurts, uncomfy painful)

5. Bodysuits

They may have men's rompers now, but bodysuits are a whole other battle it's taking the adult baby thing to a whole other level. Not only do you have to struggle to put it on initially, but taking it off to pee is a whole other battle.

6. Subconscious anxiety waiting for that time of the month

You know it's coming. If you're someone who writes it down you know the exact day it should happen. Should is the problem- it could come earlier or later, and you just have to sit and mentally prepare.

7. Chilling with your hand in your shirt

Some guys put their hands in their pants; we occasionally put our hands in shirts/bras. Is there a reason? No. Is it comfortable? Absolutely!

8. When it comes to your outfit and activities, nothing is really spontaneous

What you do depends on what you want and can wear? What you wear is super dependent on whether or not you shaved. Then you're left with this...

9. Basing your entire day on whether or not you should or have shaved your legs

If you shaved you're going to try to make sure you don't go anywhere or do anything that's going to make the hair come back quicker. On the other end, if you haven't shaved you're staying as covered as possible.

10. Phantom PMS

Fake PMS is almost worst than the real thing. All the symptoms; the bloating, the anger, the sensitivity, but it's not the right time.

11. The Bored Beat

Just sitting in your room alone and bored with no plans, so you decide to beat your face and do your makeup as your life depended on it. The worst part is that now you probably look better than you ever have done your makeup for an actual event.

12. That uneasy feeling when you're alone with a strange man and think you're either going to be kidnapped or hit on

It's one of the more sad parts of being a woman. No matter how socially extroverted you are, alone in a strange environment with a stranger leaves you uneasy. You just feel like prey, but we are women, and we can take on the world.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
