Colton Has A Foundation Dedicated To Cystic Fibrosis Patients, But He’s Just Another Virgin To ABC

There is more to him than what the media wants you to see.

So I am sure we have all noticed that Colton Underwood, the bachelor, is a virgin. No, it is not as weird as it sounds. A majority of the first and second episodes of his season of "The Bachelor" seem to have put a little too much focus on that small fact.

One of my favorite moments from the second episode of this season of "The Bachelor" was when Hannah B. told Colton that she admired him because he wanted to be in love when he gave himself away. She even mentioned how she had always told herself she was going to wait until marriage, but she let some boy get the best of her, and she has felt guilty ever since.

So to all the people who think it is strange for Colton to be a virgin or any man at that, you are wrong. If anything, it makes Colton more of a man that he wants to wait for love rather than share something so intimate with someone who does not mean anything to him.

But for a very short time in the season's second episode, Colton was able to talk about his foundation, the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation. This non-profit organization aims to help research and support for those living with cystic fibrosis, like Colton's cousin, Harper.

This is something that is very important to Colton, yet the show rarely showcases it.

This is a case where the media can do something really good and promote a way to help others, mainly children. But every talk show Colton appears on, the host asks him something about his virginity because that is all people care about. It is not weird that he is/was a virgin, and you should never treat anyone who is a virgin the way Colton has been treated.

ABC needs to showcase how much he cares about his foundation and the people it is helping. Colton is partnering with AffloVest, a company that manufactures a physician prescribed treatment option for respiratory therapy, to give away one AffloVest to one CF patient in every state.

This is ABC's chance to help out the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation and those suffering from cystic fibrosis, but instead, they are focusing on how he is not a man because he has not had sex yet.

If you want to support the foundation, you can shop their apparel here. If you know someone who has cystic fibrosis and would benefit from an AffloVest, nominate them for a free one delivered by Colton.

To make a general donation to Colton, who's certainly more than "just a virgin," donations are accepted on his website, too.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
