A College Student’s April As Told By The Trump Administration
Jerusalem Post

That crazy month is finally upon us: April. We've got more stuff to do than ever, and it feels like there's absolutely no time to get it all done. Energy is at an all-time low at a time when naps couldn't be more essential. It's a time when we ask ourselves a lot of questions, reflect inward, and test our abilities to stay organized, healthy, and at a good GPA.

Here are some common themes during a college student's April:

Saying “Bye, Bye” To Relaxation

You’re in for a rough four weeks. Finals, projects, and exams galore!

Contemplating If Attendance Really “Counts”

Those are valuable sleeping hours, okay?

Sugar Coating Your Crappy Group Projects To Look Fabulous

“We actually pulled it off and sounded like we knew what we were talking about. I'm amazed.”

Convincing Yourself That Another Cup Of Coffee Will Fix All Of Your Problems

Sadly, coffee can’t save your grades now.

Calling Your Parents Just To Complain

"Mom, you have no idea what kind of nonsense I've endured already today."

Or To Ask For Money

Chipotle doesn't just purchase itself, you know!

Debating If Your Degree Is Even Worth All Of The Stress

Am I going to be this stressed out for the rest of my life?

Procrastinating Packing Up For The Semester

Nobody wants to box up their life every 6-12 months.

Buying Less Stuff Because You Know You’ll Have To Move It All Soon

Because more stuff = more work.

Planning Your “Last Hoorah” Of The Semester With Your Best Friends

Because there is no sweeter victory than getting through April in (mostly) one piece.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
