There is no better feeling than finding your perfect roommate. She is the person who you feel the most comfortable around and miss when you spend time apart.

Here are 19 signs that you have found your perfect roommate:

1. You leave each other notes.

There is something extra special about waking up to a hand-written note from your roommate telling you to have a great day or letting you know when she’ll be back.

2. You send each other good luck texts for tests and presentations.

After studying all week for the test that you’re wicked nervous about, good luck texts are always sweet and supportive.

3. You do your laundry together.

Even the act of doing laundry together is a fun night.

4. You have matching monograms for decorations.

It makes your room seem more cohesive and a shared space, rather than one room split into two different halves.

5. You can make each other laugh.

She will always laugh at your jokes and you can make each other laugh about things that no one else will ever understand.

6. You always have someone when you need a good hug.

She is always there to give you a hug when you really need it, whether it be in celebration, comfort or support.

7. You have someone for when you need a good cry.

She will listen to you and comfort you when you have had a rough day or are missing home. She will let you cry and feel completely comfortable.

8. You share food.

When one of you is having a snack, the other one always offers some of their food to you.

9. You know each other's favorite candies and snacks.

It is important when you want to surprise your roommate with a little treat if she’s had a rough day or has studied for hours in the library.

10. She leaves snacks for your long trip on the train so you don’t get hungry.

She thinks about you when you’re not there and always has your best interest in mind. She will look out for you and make sure that you’re doing well.

11. She knows when you’re not OK, even when you say that you are fine.

She can read you better than almost anyone else and sees through your brave shield.

12. You both like the same kind of music.

You both will listen to country music when you get ready in the morning and sing along together.

13. You each make sure the other gets to class on time.

You wake each other up when either of you don’t hear your alarm for your 8 a.m. class.

14. You help each other pick out clothes for dates.

You pull out tons of different outfits to make sure that you find the best one.

15. You always are there to listen to each other.

It does not matter what you want to talk about; she will always be a listening ear and provide advice to what you are concerned about.

16. Your roommate's mom sends a care package for both of you.

Her mom sends you both a care package with matching glasses with your names on them that will also serve as great decorations.

17. You miss them when you spend a weekend apart.

When you’re away for the weekend, you look forward to going back to your roommate on Sunday night and can’t wait to share everything about your weekend.

18. You greet each other with huge hugs when you reunite again.

When you reunite, it does not matter if it was a night or months, it is always filled with huge hugs and smiles.

19. You support each other in everything.

You know that she is there for you no matter what and will support you in every part of your life.
