Many people fell in love with Barack Obama and his family during his 8 years as president of the United States. He won over the hearts of many people: the elderly, the middle class, and especially the younger generation. He rescued our country from a recession, found and executed the mastermind of 9/11, improved nutrition in schools, and fought for marriage equality. He also provided our country with humility, kindness, grace, dad jokes, and a wonderful sense of humor. These accomplishments helped people in college prep too, you know, actually get their lives together, so what a better way to thank him for his service than to explain what college life really is through his famous GIFs?! Here is college life: Barack Obama style.
Saying "Bye" to your parents on move-in day like...
When you discover that you have class with your best friend...
When you realize that you haven't slept in 3 days...
When a class in your major is only offered at 8 a.m.
When you have to tell people that food at the cafeteria is actually good...
When your professor doesn't show up to class after 15 minutes...
When your professor shows up ONE MINUTE before class starts...
When you and your friends go out for the first time of the semester...
When the material you studied isn't even on the test...
When you find that one person at the gym that's actually at your level...
When you realize you have no homework and can actually go out with friends...
When the teacher asks if you did the assigned reading that you rarely ever do...
When you realize an assignment is due at 11:59 p.m... tomorrow.
When you stay up until 4 in the morning and get to your 8 a.m. ON TIME.
When you lock yourself out of your room and try everything so you don't have to call campus police...
When you pass all of your finals despite all the mental breakdowns it took to get there...
Alright, so Obama was a pretty cool president. He and his family provided a lot of positivity for our country and gave us many laughs along the way. People my age greatly appreciate his service and his ability to give us the shot to get our lives together successfully.
