I was exploring one of my favorite websites, Pinterest, and came across some pictures that made me really miss my cat and made me truly believe that cats understand college students.
1. Sleep is hard to find.
But when you find the time to sleep as a college student, cherish this time. One of my goals for my four years in college is to never take an 8 a.m. class. So far so good, but I have a feeling this won't last for long.
2. When you go to the dining hall and salad is the best option.
Recently, I have been eating plenty of salad. Although I love salad, this is not by choice, but instead, salad is the only edible option in the Caf.
3. Receiving a "healthy" care package.
Lucky for me, my family understands that the things that I need most are popcorn and k-cups for my Keurig.
4. No longer being embarrassed in the community bathrooms.
Going from a personal bathroom to a community bathroom might be one of the hardest changes you go through freshman year. After a few weeks, you will be completely adjusted and not afraid to strut your stuff.
5. Realizing the life lessons your mom taught you are true.
6. Be careful of what you say in the library or coffee shop.
7. Being obsessed with a show or a week's worth of shows.
8. When all the sudden everyone goes out on Thursday nights instead of Friday nights.
For some reason, all the parties happen to be on Thursday nights once you get in college. Remember that test you have on Friday? Neither do I.
9. But then again, we are in college, so why not go out every night?
10. But of course we are in college to graduate and for job interviews.
Put on your best business casual attire, and go into your first job interview after college with confidence because if you can get through the craziness of college, you can get through anything.
