I think we can all agree that college is an experience like no other. Even when you think you have it all together, you still have no idea what you are doing the majority of the time. There are some things all college students can easily relate to no matter what school you attend, or if you live at home or on campus. I happened to notice as I was watching an episode of "Friends" just how relatable it really is.
1. When your professor assigns two papers and three homework assignments all due on the same day of your exam.
Seriously, why do professors think this is a good idea? I also have four other classes besides yours to worry about and a job but I'll just spend all of my time and effort on your class and get behind on everything else in my life.
2. When you have spent all day in class and you wonder if anyone around you can hear your stomach rumbling.
3. When you stayed up all night to write a paper and go to your class first thing in the morning.
We've all been there and we all have looked just like this the next day...well, minus the suit and tie. It's more like sweatpants and a hoodie that you probably also wore the night before.
4. When the professor asks for a volunteer.
There's nothing worse than the professor asking for a volunteer and the entire classroom sitting silently in fear of what they are signing up for if they raise their hand.
5. When you sit down to take an exam you actually studied for and still don't know half of the answers.
6. When the professor tells you that the tests are cumulative.
7. Trying to find any possible excuse to avoid taking an 8 a.m. class.
8. Getting ready to walk across campus to class in the middle of the winter.
It's either layer everything you own or freeze. Your choice.
