As Thanksgiving season rolls around, there are an endless amount of things that we can be thankful for. Although we obviously are most thankful for our loving families, there are several other unique things I am certainly thankful for this season.

1. Puppies

OK, it might sound cliché, but how can we not be thankful for warm, fluffy puppies? You cannot scroll past cute puppy videos on Instagram and not have a smile grow on your face immediately. I am thankful that on every good and bad day, I can easily look up cute puppies and be put in an extra good mood. Look at this picture of my adorable pooch and try to tell me that your heart isn't feeling warm and fuzzy.

2. Lululemon

This one might just apply to me, but, seriously, as a Lulu-addict, I cannot stress how thankful I truly am for Lululemon. Every day they provide me with great clothing to keep me looking cool at the gym and swift on my way to class. As someone who is not a fan of the sweatpants look and much rather prefers ~athleisure~, I am so thankful for the variety of cool colors and patterns they offer that allow me to feel super athletic and cool.

3. Starbucks

You do not need to be a pumpkin-spice latte loving basic girl to love Starbucks. Whether it is their hot chocolate or passion iced tea lemonade, I know that we are all grateful for the amazing drinks that Starbucks can provide us with to cool us down on a summer day or warm us up on a cold winter day. Every sip is amazing and we would not be where we are without Starbucks, if you ask me. Thanks for always giving me that boost to get me through my long day, Starbucks!

4. Puberty

You probably saw this one and asked yourself, "Huh?" Well, do not try and act like you did not go through that ~ugly~ stage. After having braces for 11 years, I truly never thought that life would ever be good to me. Then when it came time to get glasses, oh no. Thank goodness for the "after" look of braces, contacts and much more to help getting through puberty ... totally worth it. Also, I'm thankful that I no longer have just four front teeth.

5. The Chicago Cubs

I do not care where you are from, you cannot NOT love the Chicago Cubbies! No other team has had such a comeback after not winning the World Series for over 100 years. As someone who is from Chicago, I am thankful for the team spirit that my city has and all of the fun that the games offer. Whether rain or shine, you know that you can always find me cheering on my favorite team.

6. Boyfriends/Girlfriends

At the end of the day, your boyfriend or girlfriend is always there to make you laugh. I am thankful for my boyfriend for putting up with my dramatic fits about random things, whether it is about my day, how I want to go home or how I do not like the food at school. He is always there to remind me to focus on what is actually important and not be dramatic about the little things. Also, although it is not pictured here, I am thankful that he is willing to dress up and do a matching costume with me on Halloween.

7. Face masks

This is so underrated. How many times have we all made a trip to CVS or wherever to buy a facemark to help fix our pores or help us feel better? Seriously, face masks are a life saver. As the days get colder and our skin gets dry, we can always rely on face masks to help make our skin looking fresh and fleeky. Also, they are always good for a good laugh when you see yourself after putting it on.

8. Fun Friends

It might sound like a typical thing to be thankful for, but seriously. Friends are awesome. I am so thankful that I have friends who are always down for a good time, whether it is going to the beach, going shopping, eating or staying in gossiping. They are always there for me and I could not be more thankful to have them by my side. I would not want to dance around to Hannah Montana every Friday night with anyone else. Thanks for always putting a smile on my face, girlies.

9. The Notebook

I cannot find a better movie that makes me feel every type of emotion. I am so grateful for such an amazing movie that makes me want to live in that time period and find love just as Noah and Allie did. As we live in our current times of social media, love starts much differently as it did back in the day. The movie makes you want to go out and do fun activities and find someone to love.

10. Amazon

Seriously, Amazon is probably one of the greatest things to exist since sliced bread. Where would we be without Amazon? Just last week, Amazon allowed me to order a pound of Nerd candies. Where else can I do that? Nowhere. There is nothing better than Amazon and all that it has to offer us. Especially that prime shipping.
