A Day In The Life Of A College Girl, 7 AM To 1 AM, As Told By Snapchat

It's all fun, games, tears and 10-second photos.

With over 70 percent of all students saying they use it, Snapchat has certainly become a pretty big deal.

And like with many other things, people have turned Snapchat into a very predictable, very basic tool. You pretty much know exactly what you're going to see on other college students' stories before you even open the app. A typical day sort of looks like this:

7:00 a.m. - Waking up is really hard but you pretend you're having a good time for the #streak

Ah yes, bed. Everyone's favorite friend.

7:30 a.m. - Outfit of the day mirror selfie

Don't act like you didn't destroy your room and try on four outfits before you took this snap.

8:00 a.m. - Breakfast with a friend

The dining hall is not that exciting. You are not that excited about breakfast that you have to tell 250 of your closest friends about it.

9:00 a.m. - First class and you are already bored

Being under-caffeinated and bored is a combination that was crafted by Satan himself.

12:00 p.m. - Nap time

Being in college is actually equivalent to being 5 years old. That nap is SO necessary.

2:00 p.m. - Contemplating doing homework

You want to just not do it until you check the syllabus and realize homework is 15 percent of your grade.

2:30 p.m. - Actually doing homework

Gotta story it just in case your mom is your friend on Snap.

5:00 p.m. - Realizing what time it is and simultaneously realizing you've only read four pages of a textbook

You're also hungry, so you pack up and leave.

5:30 p.m. - Dinner

Salad or french fries? Salad or french fries? French fries.

7:00 p.m. - Nap time

You really deserve this one.

9:00 p.m. - Outfit of the day, going out edition

Another opportunity to destroy your room by trying on at least 10 outfits this time.

10:30 p.m. - Out and having a great time

You are having a lot of fun, and need to share that.

12:00 a.m. - Food you should not be eating at midnight but are definitely eating anyway

And it is consumed at a rapid, almost inhuman pace.

1:00 a.m. - Bed time

Oh how you've missed your bed, it's been so long.

Love it or hate it, you will see these kinds of things every day. Happy Snapping!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
