As we get older, the holidays are valued more as a time away from school and a time to relax and enjoy family time. Rather than just the idea of getting new clothes and toys. However, it is a nice time to ask your family for meaningful things that are more "grown-up" and you will use for years to come. Here is a list of gift ideas that are age appropriate.
1. A nice skincare routine.
Now is the time to start really caring for your skin and Christmas is a great time to maybe ask for a pricier brand rather than just your usual CVS line. A few great lines include Clinique, Pixi, and Mario Bedescu.
2. Facial cleansing brush.
Adding on to a skincare line, a cleansing brush will leave your pores completely clean. Usually, these are between $50 and $100 but will last you long into your 20's.
4. Sneakers.
This is a great time to ask for a brand new pair of running shoes and trash those worn out ones that have no support. I believe every woman in college should have a good pair of sneakers to wear to class and the gym.
5. Work out gear.
What will motivate you to start your New Years resolution of working out? Cute workout clothes! You don't need to break the bank on this either, stores like Target and Old Navy have great work out apparel.
6. Perfume.
With age, we outgrow those body mists we all bathed in in middle school. So now is the time to graduate to actual perfume. Since perfume is a bit pricey it's a great thing to ask for for Christmas and it will last you about a year.
7. Makeup.
What's that one product of yours you are running low on? Or that new palette that just came out? Put that on your Christmas list, make up will be used almost everyday and not just thrown into your closet and forgotten about.
